I hooked up my computer to the LCD TV that Marc brought him, and the picture was big and clear enough to be able to trawl the web site for Tom’s benefit about half an hour ago.

He loved it, and said to tell you all that he is “staggered” by it all – particularly the statistics that show the site has been visited by 2700 people over 18 thousand times!

There was no time at this visit for me to let him read any of the posts/comments in any detail but I showed him all the sections and particularly the pictures section, and we had a laugh at some of the older pics from university days.

Now that I know this works well (and no scary nurses came over to object to the active internet connection), I will spend more time with him so he can see more of what you’ve all posted/written here. He says he also wants to write something, but wants to wait until he’s able to talk first.

In typical Tom fashion he was also very pleased about the link to Keegan’s site. Showing him all your support definitely lifted his spirits – keep it coming!
