Wow, you wonderful Zimbabweans – what a show of strength we had for Tom today, it was truly amazing and uplifting to see so many people out there showing their support for Tom and Sal. We had 862 walkers through the gate breathing for Tom and sending him all of their positive energy!! Well done guys, it just cemented why we live in this wonderful country with such amazing people. We will be updating the web with photos shortly. Once again thank you so much for your support!!

Yes what an overwhelming day it was. I saw people I haven’t seen in years, I met people for the first time and I was surrounded by those who know us. Thank you to you all for your energy, your contributions, your time. The community spirit was heart wrenching. It was a good day, just as I thought it would be…. only a million times better!

Hi Tom, yesterday I was in Harare in spirit and in Cape Town in body and while they were all walking at Borrowdale Race Course, Zac, a friend and I walked along the promenade. It was the most beautiful day, sunny, no wind and the sea was calm and almost turquoise colour. I enjoyed reading Gay’s post after her visit last week and so pleased you are progressing well. Errol and I look forward to visiting you in 2 weeks time. Lots of love to you all

Well done Harare for yesterday. We met in Richmond Park London for Englands Show of Strength and it was amazing we cannot compete with Harare but had 70 people there, some walking, some cycling others just being there and the support was incredible, all people who care about you Tom being there along with you and your struggle. Loads of love

Hey there our favorite helicopter pilot. Big day for you on saturday…. We walked for you in the morning, we cycled for you in the afternoon, we wrote your name all over our and the other cyclists bodies and we took you with us, through the bush doing what you love….we know you felt it because we felt you….we love you Tom. In our hearts and thoughts always (and sometimes on our bodies too….!!!) Well done Sal, Ali, Wendy and the team, what a wonderful positive day for Tom. Linda & Wayne. Harare

Wow. Really.
I am so proud to have been born and raised in Zimbabwe. What a special community lives there. I have been living in SA almost as long as I lived in Zim. An SA resident with a British passport. But its times like these that your nationality catches up with you and helps you remember who you are. I am humbled by you all…

What an amazing weekend it has been, so much connection and good energy out of the shows of strength – cant wait to see the pictures.
The pictures of you both in the gym are fantastic – especially to see that cheeky grin again, Tom! It’s miraculous to see you sitting up in a gym environment and able to engage with tasks that will rebuild strength and allow you to really feel change in your life and some control over what you do. Also valuable to see where you are and what you are doing.
I find myself sending bursts of breathing and positive thoughts to you both often throughout a day and am addicted to this site and my daily catch up on your progress!
So just to say hope you are having sweet dreams and refreshing rest and are ready to face the new day and get all you can out of it to get you that bit closer to the much anticipated Harare Christmas.
Keep taking special care. Love Michelle xxxx
