Out of the night that covers me
Black as the pit from pole to pole
I thank whatever gods may be
for my unconquerable soul
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced or cried aloud
under the bludgeonings of chance
my head is bloody, but unbowed
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
looms but the horror of the shade
but despite the menace of the years
finds, and shall find me, unafraid
It matters not how strait the gate
how charged with punishments the scroll
I am the master of my fate
I am the captain of my soul.

As you are, indeed, the Master of your fate and Captain of your unconquerable soul. You stand as an inspirational example to me of what that really can and does mean in seemingly overwhelming circumstances. Stay strong in that knowledge, keep shining so brightly and continue to impact your world in this extraordinary way. Love and light to you and Sal. Michelle xx

How very apt. You are so brave, and I am so delighted that you chose to stay with us and that when the 5th of May comes we can celebrate life with you.
