It was heartwarming, fun and inspirational to spend time with you and the family on New Year’s Day Tom – and so wonderful to catch up with Brett and Robs and Lex after way too long. Love the spirited and honest stuff on your website – humanity and heroism in action on a daily basis. A reminder to us all to really feel, appreciate and nurture all the things we too often take for granted.

I don’t know you personally but I have followed your journey on your website after a friend of mine posted a link to it via Facebook, telling of your inspuring story. Every now and then I pop back to look for an update and you’ve been very quiet. That’s normally a very good or very bad thing. In your case, I obviously sincerely hope its because you’re in a great space.

This weekend I read a book however called Ghost Boy (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ghost-Boy-Martin-Pistorius/dp/0857203312) by a South African called Martin Pistorius. His story made me think of yours, and wonder how you and your linguistically talented wife and family are?

your old mate from home (loresho) and king of the school run… how time flies and with it changes. i remember the bike rides, playing cowboys and indians, climbing the acacia tree, looking for tadpoles…
